
GRAND HAVEN, Ottawa County (WZZM)- Grand Haven city leaders say last week's deer kill on Harbor Island is polarizing the community.
Sharpshooters killed 19 deer last Thursday in an effort to control the number of deer within city limits.
Our news partner The Grand Haven Tribune is reporting city council members say there is no plan for another kill in February.
They've heard complaints the city did not do enough to notify people of last week's hunt. City leaders say they did give proper notice.
