Rock-n-roller Johnny Paris dies

Ann Arbor - A 50's and 60's rock-n-roll legend has died.

Johnny Paris of rock group Johnny and the Hurricane died last week at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Family members say he had been in the hospital for nearly two months before his death on May 1st. His illness and cause of death won't be released until an autopsy is finished.

The tenor saxophonist, whose real name was John Pocisk, had hits such as "Red River Rock" and "Beatnik Fly."

He lived in the Toledo, Ohio, suburb of Rossford.

Family members say services will be private.
