"New life" for an old Muskegon industrial site

Muskegon ? The city of Muskegon announced some big news this morning.

Officials announced a $15-million dollar waterfront condo project for Edison Landing on Muskegon Lake. It will be built on an old industrial site that is now vacant.

The condo's are being called "eco-friendly" and will be priced starting at $375,000. Developer Douglas Harger Inc. says it will start construction on the 40 unit project this month.

Condos will have 2 to 3 bedrooms, with 2 1/2 baths, and approximately 1700 square feet.

Its official name is Vida Nova, which is Italian for new life. Watch WZZM 13 News at 5:30pm for continuing coverage of this story.
