Allegan - Allegan County drug-maker Perrigo is reporting record sales and earnings for the second quarter of the fiscal year. Total revenue for the firm was $435 million dollars. That's up 17%, or an increase of $65 million dollars.
Perrigo Chairman and CEO, Joseph C. Papa, stated in a press release, "I am extremely pleased with our performance this quarter both financially and operationally....These results also come before the largest new product launch in our history, Omeprazole, which we expect to start shipping by the end of our third fiscal quarter."
