NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Three sailors rescued a motorcyclist who was thrown into Virginia's Hampton Roads Channel when he crashed into a wall. State police say Brian Anthony Davis of Grand Rapids, was in critical condition following yesterday morning's accident near the U.S. naval base at Hampton Roads. The 22-year-old Davis was speeding on Interstate 64 when he lost control and hit the wall. Jason Murphy, Edgar Ardon and Elisandro Leal were driving behind Davis and saw the crash. Murphy and Ardon jumped into the water and pulled him ashore while Leal called police. Murphy, Ardon and Leal are temporarily stationed aboard the carrier Carl Vinson. Davis also is a sailor, stationed aboard the carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower.
