Kent County - There will be new additions to Millennium Park in Kent County this summer giving bicyclists and walkers new places to explore.
Kent County Parks Director Roger Sabine says crews will extend the park's trails by about nine miles using private donations.
The construction will also connect the two lakes, paving the way for a future boating area. For now, the paths will give landlovers access to areas of the park.
Construction on phase one of the trailwork will begin this summer and should be finished by fall. More trails will be built over the next two years.
