ALLEGAN, Mich. (WZZM) - The Allegan County Sheriff's Department says it now knows where a missing 19-year-old woman is heading.
Investigators tell WZZM 13 News Christina Sue Watkins willingly left her parents Allegan home Friday, October 4.
The Watkins family told investigators they last saw Christina when they left their home for a weekend trip. They say when they returned Sunday, Christina was gone and so was her car. However, they say, it appeared she had been there recently because the dishwasher was still running.
The teenager was expected to start a new job in the Kalamazoo area that Monday, but never arrived at work.
Sheriff's deputies now say Watkins took her own vehicle, but it's unclear if anyone is with her. They will not disclose where she is headed.
