LANSING, Mich. (AP) - An American Indian tribe and the state of Michigan have settled a dispute over gambling revenues paid to the state.

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians has agreed to make revenue-sharing payments to the state. It had said it didn't have to make the payments because the Michigan Lottery's Club Keno game violates an exclusivity clause.

In exchange, the state's cut of tribal casino proceeds will drop from 8 percent to 6 percent.

The tribe also gets the right to develop two satellite casinos in southwest Michigan. The tribe already operates a casino in New Buffalo.

The amended compact was announced Monday.

In March, the state settled similar disputes with two other tribes that were withholding payments to the state.
