GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - A group of reality TV stars were in Grand Rapids Wednesday, talking about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Helen Philips, Shannon Thomas, Coleen Skeabeck and mother and daughter team, Shelly and Amy Cremen appeared on Season 6 & 7 of "The Biggest Loser." They coached a group of students at Knapp Academy about the importance of exercise and wise eating choices as part of a school fundraiser.

"Often the hobbies that we take in are sit-down hobbies-- the computer, video games. We aren't playing outside as much, and I think it is really important... Kids learn from example. Get them out there, get them moving, take a walk around the block," says Coleen Skeabeck, a Season 7 contestant.

"It's never too early to start being healthy and to start an exercise regime," adds fellow contestant, Helen Phillips.

"The Biggest Loser" contestants walked with the students around the track at Catholic Central High School's athletic fields.
