Grand Rapids, Mich. (WZZM) - Not only was the weather perfect for this year's Race For the Cure, but so was the turnout.
More than 5600 people joined together to help raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
That's the largest turnout in race history.
Our own Juliet Dragos participated in the race. So did WZZM 13's Phil Dawson who was one of the first to cross the finish line.
Juliet has served as the Race For the Cure honorary emcee for more than ten years.
This year's race raised more than $425,000, exceeding their goal of by $75,000.
