MUSKEGON, Mich. (GRBJ) - The 2008 season added up to "record attendance and record revenue" according to the general manager of Michigan's Adventure, the state's only full-fledged roller coaster amusement park, which is located between Muskegon and Whitehall and an important component in the Muskegon area economy.
The season "started weak" with June being "just a lot of rain and cooler than the typical June," according to Camille Jourden-Mark, general manager of Michigan's Adventure and a vice president in the Cedar Fair LP amusement park company.
"We were a little apprehensive ending the month of June, but July and August were very strong and it was a great season," she said.
