One Good Thing: Denali Donation

OGT: Rick Ybarra and Betten Baker

MUSKEGON, MICH - When a 2017 Sierra Denali was damaged during a transfer, Betten Baker GMC thought about selling it to a scrap yard.  Instead, Rick Ybarra convinced his superiors to donate the truck to the 'Muskegon Area Career Tech Center."  This is a big deal for a number reasons.  Including the fact that the newest model students have to work on permanently is a 2001 Dodge Neon.  The Denali has tons of high-end, newer-technology equipment the students can train on, and - ultimately - put to good use when they go into the workforce.

Rick Ybarra and Betten Baker get today's One Good Thing for donating that truck.  And if you want to learn more about the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center and its 14 programs, go to their website.
