Bernie Sanders to campaign for Hillary Clinton in Grand Rapids

Angela Cunningham tells us about the Vermont Senator's trip to Grand Rapids to stump for his old rival, Hillary Clinton.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is will be in Grand Rapids on Thursday, Oct. 6, to rally for Hillary Clinton.

The event will be held at Central High School on Fountain Street from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to the Democratic nominee's campaign website.

According to our partner, USA TODAY, the Vermont independent will be campaigning for Clinton in battleground states.

“We’re going to go wherever Secretary Clinton’s people think that I am needed,” Sanders said on MSNBC. “And I am going to work as hard as I can to make sure that Donald Trump does not become the next president.”
