'March 4 America': Protesters rally against President Trump's agenda

Just a few blocks away another protest this time with marchers -- against President Trump's agenda.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Some of the chants against President Donald Trump included: "Unite, unite, defend our values and our rights" and, "Our country united, will never be divided."

Protesters at Grand Rapids' Rosa Parks Circle and neighboring streets marched against the president's agenda Saturday, March 4.

Indivisible West Michigan, alongside other chapters and many people just from the area, showed up with signs; there also was face painting and live music.

Many took to the streets and marched around downtown Grand Rapids. The conversation encompassed several different topics, including women's rights, the EPA and the controversy surrounding Russia and Trump.

"I don't want to be out here as a pro-Democrat or a pro-liberal or anything like that, but I am a progressive and I value the rights of everybody," a protestor said. "I want that message to override everything that's here because if we all respect each other, that's really what it's about."

We spoke to police toward the end of the protests, and they say they were no issues nor arrests.
