The legality of wiretapping U.S. citizens

There appears to be some division within the federal government, over President Trump's unproven allegations over wiretapping.

GRAND RAPIDS - President Trump is accusing his predecessor of having Trump Tower "wire-tapped" during the recent campaign.  FBI director James Comey is apparently trying to get to the Justice Department to state "publicly" that those claims are "not" true.  It is a situation that is raising many legal questions about presidential and federal powers.

Practicing attorney and "Distinguished Professor Emeritus" at Western Michigan University's, Cooley Law School, Curt Benson stopped by the WZZM 13 studio to discuss the legality of these issues.
