Paul Hard is wanted in the shooting of a teen in Manistee County.
UPDATE AT 5:40 P.M. (WZZM) -- Deputies have arrested a man wanted in the shooting of a Manistee County teen.
They arrested Paul Hard around 3:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Chief and Potter roads near Bear Lake, about 20 miles north of Manistee.
No one was injured in the arrest.
Hard was wanted in connection of the Sunday shooting of his girlfriend's 14-year-old daughter.
CLEON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- A 14-year-old girl has been shot in Michigan's Upper Lower Peninsula and authorities are seeking a man they believe is responsible.
WWTV/WWUP reports that a manhunt involving several police agencies was under way Sunday in Manistee County.
The girl was shot Sunday morning in Cleon Township, southwest of Traverse City. She was in stable condition at a Grand Rapids hospital.
Police are looking for Paul Hard, who they consider armed and dangerous.
They think he could be driving a burgundy or silver-colored, late 1990s Chevrolet Tahoe with Michigan license plate CDS4851.
