VAN BUREN COUNTY, Michigan (WZZM) - Van Buren County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a couple of boaters for Operating while Intoxicated while boating.
Friday night, July 6th at 6:20 pm, a 60 year old man from Chicago was arrested after he was found operating a pontoon boat while under the influence of alcohol. This was on Round Lake in Keeler Township.
In a seperate incident, later Friday night, about 11:25 pm, a 53 year old man from South Haven was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated while boating. The man was operating a pleasure boat on the Black River in South Haven.
