GRAND HAVEN, MI (WZZM)- The Rip My Shred Stick Tour and the Hurley Pro Surf Team returns to Grand Haven's coast Tuesday for a completely free event for local young surfers.
Athletes from the Hurley Team will hit the water at 8 a.m. with local surfers ages 16 and under.
Riders can enter into a free surf contest. The top ten finishers will receive prizes. Riders over 16 can hang out with the Hurley pros and test out demo boards.
Hurley has teamed up with MACkite for the event's second appearance at Grand Haven Beach. Last year's event was the second largest on the Hurley tour.
