Ottawa Co. District Court Judge Kenneth Post
OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM) -- Ottawa County Judge, Kenneth Post, is being investigated for three counts of misconduct by the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission.
December last year, post sent an attorney to jail for representing his client. Allegedly Judge Post questioned attorney Scott Millard's client-- asking if he was on drugs.
Attorney Millard advised his client of his 5th amendment rights, and the judge held him in contempt of court, and put him in jail.
The complaint says, Judge Post told the attorney-- "I don't care what you think," laughed at him, and told someone in the courtroom "the show is just beginning."
Judge Post has 14 days to respond to the complaint before his hearing. If he's found responsible-- the supreme court could publicly shame him, suspend him without pay, or remove him from office.
There are no other formal complaints against this judge... Grievances can't be released.
