HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) - A contest between school bands on the lakeshore is making noise about how to prevent hearing loss.
The Holland Doctors of Audiology sponsored the Adopt a Band competition. Voters choose their favorite of ten school bands in Ottawa and Allegan Counties and every member of the winning band will get a free set of ear plugs, which are usually $13.
The drumline for the second and third place bands will also get free ear plugs. Votes will be counted on Friday at midnight.
