MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich (WZZM) -- Investigators say the fiery explosion that leveled a Muskegon County home on October 2 was intentionally set.
The Muskegon Township Fire Chief says Charles Wilbur used flammable liquid to start the fire at his home located on the corner of Vine Avenue and Clark Street.

Wilbur later died from burns he suffered in the blast.
The 48-year-old was the only person inside the home at the time.
