GRAND HAVEN, Mich (WZZM) -- A former Grand Haven resident has died at his home near Travis Air Force Base, California.
Our news partner, the Grand Haven Tribune, reports U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Donald G. Norvell of the 60th Air Mobility Wing died November 14.
The cause of death for the 30-year-old man is currently under investigation, according to a spokesman at Travis Air Force Base. The investigation is being handled by local police and military officers.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department assisted the Air Force in notifying Norvell's family in Grand Haven Township.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Klaassen Family Funeral Home in Grand Haven.
