The Yorktown arrives in Saugatuck
SAUGATUCK, Mich. (WZZM) - Saugatuck and Douglas will get emergency dredging money from the state. It's an update to a story we first reported Wednesday.

The two cities were left off the funding list, even after the Convention and Visitors Bureau sent a letter to Governor Snyder's office. State officials finally added Saugatuck and Douglas to the list after representative Bob Genetski met with the Governor's staff.
Tourism workers say what tipped the scales in the communities' favor was the Yorktown cruise ship. Concerns over sand build up would have prevented vessel from entering the harbor.
