(WZZM) - Thousands of Charter telephone customers are without service today. A WZZM 13 viewer alerted us to the outage after the phones stopped working Tuesday afternoon at her retirement community in Coopersville.
7&4 News in Traverse City is reporting 122,000 telephone customers statewide are affected but the outage does not appear to impact cable or internet service.
There's no word yet on a restoration timeframe.
