16 items from the four major fast food resturants
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Rising food prices are leading to big changes at some popular fast food chains.
Wendy's announced this week it will no longer have a menu of solely 99 cent items. Instead, it will offer food and beverages ranging from 99 cents to $1.99 as part of a revised value menu.
WZZM 13's Alex Shabad and Steve Zaagman went to check out what people can still buy at fast food chains with $1. They bought a main dish, a side, a drink, and a dessert at Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, and Taco Bell.
Wendy's had six items for $1, but the items are now called "Right Price, Right Size" instead.
McDonald's had ten items on the dollar menu, Burger King only had four items for a dollar, and Taco Bell had dollar items for a dollar.
Food prices may very depending on location.
