PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - A Holland man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was struck Sunday night while riding his bicycle near Lake Macatawa.

It happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of South Shore Drive and 160th Avenue.

Ottawa County Sheriff's Deputies say 17-year old Morgan Gonzales of Holland turned left in front of 38-year-old Walter Catton on his bike.

Catton was wearing a helmet, but sustained facial, shoulder, and arm injuries. He was transported to the hospital by Aeromed.

The crash remains under investigation.
