
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM)- Grand Rapids Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon on the northeast side. Police say that about 1:30pm Friday afternoon, the suspect entered the 5th 3rd Bank in the 2200 block of Plainfield NE, approached the tellers and demanded money. He did not indicate or show that he had a weapon. The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect wore black nylon over his face. He was wearing a bright blue oversized jacket, tan or grey pants, and red, white, blue boxers. He also wore a dark-colored back pack.
