GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - One man was taken into custody Wednesday morning after a short standoff with police.
Around 1:20 a.m., officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Bowne Street NE. Police say a domestic dispute there escalated and the man had a handgun. Everyone inside the home safely escaped.
The suspect was arrested about a half hour after the standoff started. It's unclear if he will face charges.
