GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM)- The Grand Rapids Public Museum has found a use for its outdated exhibit signs. The museum is partnering with a Traverse City company to create tote bags from what used to be promotional banners.
Most recently the company recycled the Leonardo da Vinci exhibit banner, displayed on the museum's rotunda. The $14 bags are now on sale at the museum's Curiosity Shop. The next bags will be created using the banners from the Big, Big Bugs exhibit.
