(WZZM)- A political fight is brewing over ads criticizing Republican Congressman Pete Hoekstra who is running for Governor. 

Hoekstra's campaign says another West Michigan television company stopped running the ads paid for by a group called Americans for Job Security.  The issue is whether Congressman Hoekstra signed a pledge to oppose tax hikes.  Hoekstra's campaign says he did sign the pledge. 

WZZM 13 is airing those commercials, but our sales department has not received any requests from the Hoekstra campaign to stop running the ads.
