MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM)- A Muskegon man, who police say killed another man in a shooting, is headed to prison.
A judge sentenced Omar Rawls to 12 and a half to 30 years in prison on manslaughter and gun charges.
Police say Rawls shot and killed a man inside a home on East Columbia in Muskegon Heights. Rawls' sentence was doubled because of his two prior convictions on drug charges.
He must also pay $5,000 in restitution to cover the victim's funeral costs.
