ALLEGAN, Mich. (WZZM) - The Allegan County Sheriff is looking for a patrol rifle that is missing from one of their patrol cars.
The Colt .223 patrol rifle was in a black nylon case. The rifle was reported missing by a deputy Thursday afternoon when he reported to work and did not find it in his patrol car.
The last time that the weapon was seen was Monday, July 30th behind the Wayland Police Department as it was being transferred from one patrol vehicle to another at the end of a shift.

Silent Observer is offering a reward for information that leads to the recovery of the firearm.
