WYOMING - An 18 month old girl is dead after falling into a backyard pool.
Police say it happened Tuesday night at a home in the 3500 hundred block of Buchanan Southwest.
Police say the father, David Boon, was home with his daughter and had some friends over. Authorities say Boon noticed his daughter was missing and ran into the backyard and found her floating in the pool.
Neighbors and emergency crews tried CPR on the child but she could not be revived.
The girl's mother is 7 months pregnant, and was at work when the drowning happened.
