COVERT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say a child has found the body of a missing Chicago teacher along the shore of Lake Michigan in Van Buren County.
The body was found Sunday evening in Covert Township. The sheriff's department in nearby Berrien County on Monday identified the body as that of 27-year-old Robert E. Hosty Jr.
Hosty was reported missing June 15 from a home he was visiting in the Coloma area in Berrien County. Hosty's body was found in a southwest Michigan gated community known as "Wilderness Dunes."
Authorities say drowning was suspected, but an autopsy was planned.
