Sustainability at your fingertips, literally!

Muskegon County drop-off

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MICH. - If you live in Muskegon County, it's gotten a little easier to get rid of old TV's and broken VCR's.

The county's Sustainability Office has recently updated it's website, which now includes information on being sustainable and examining ecological footprints, ways to support local commerce and a long list of places where you can drop off recycling.

The site's designers say they hope the changes will make it easier for people to find a location that best fits their needs.

A group called the Arconic Foundation is helping cover the cost of the website improvements. The money will also help pay for new education efforts focused on recycling at area schools.
