Teen bicycle rider seriously hurt in crash

GRAND HAVEN, MICH. - Officers are looking for more information on a crash that sent a 16-year-old bicycle rider to the hospital Sunday, July 23.

According to our partners at the Grand Haven Tribune, the accident happened just before noon near the corner of Marion Avenue and Griffin Street.

The boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.

At least one person involved in the crash in some way has been identified by police. But his name not been released, and it's not clear if he was the driver who hit the boy.
