1 person dead, another seriously injured after crash in Montcalm County

REYNOLDS TOWNSHIP, MICH. - A 32-year-old man is dead and his passenger left seriously injured after a crash in Montcalm County on Saturday, Michigan State Police say.

According to a news release from MSP, the 32-year-old man, John Londo of Evart, Mich., was traveling southbound on US-131 near Cutler Road around 7:30 p.m. Londo lost control of his vehicle, causing him to exit the freeway and roll over.

Troopers say the Londo wasn't wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle -- he was already dead when they arrived on scene. 

Londo's passenger -- not identified by authorities -- was seriously injured and taken to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids. 

Michigan State Police say they will continue to investigate the crash.
