Battle Creek man injured in hit and run accident

BATTLE CREEK, MICH. - Battle Creek Police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident Friday evening.

Police say around 7:30 p.m., a 45-year-old man was found lying on the side roadway at West Jackson and 20th streets.

The investigation showed he was struck by a car and sustained serious injuries. The driver gone when emergency responders arrived.

The man was taken to an area hospital to be treated.

Police are looking for a light blue, 2001-2007, Chrysler Town and Country or Dodge Caravan. The car will have passenger side and partial front end damage.
