WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, MICH. - A 64-year-old Muskegon man was pinned in his car after an early morning crash in Wright Township.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, Robert Ritter of Muskegon, was traveling westbound on I-96 when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the median.
Police say that Ritter was pinned in his car under the median's cable wires and needed to be extricated by the Wright Tallmadge Fire Rescue. During extrication, the left lane of westbound I-96 was closed.
Ritter was transported to Spectrum Health hospital downtown Grand Rapids to treat non-life-threatening injuries.
