SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, MICH. - A 27-year-old man killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a deer has been identified.

Mason County deputies say Justin Paulsen was riding a 2001 Suzuki west on Decker Road near the corner of Tyndall Road when his motorcycle was hit by a deer. That happened around 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 23.

Paulsen was wearing a helmet and deputies do not believe he was speeding.

The victim is listed as being from Roseville, Michigan, but deputies believe he lived in Mason County. He was the only person riding the motorcycle at the time.
