Motorcyclists swerves to miss deer, crashes

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, MICH. - A Grand Haven man was injured on Thursday, Nov. 17, when he swerved to miss a deer while riding his motorcycle.

According to the Grand Haven Tribune, 58-year-old William Payette was traveling on Osborn Street in Robinson Township. Payette missed the deer but crashed, and his bike landed on top of him.

He suffered non life threatening injuries.

The crash occurred around 12:50 p.m.
