(WZZM)- Don't let the potential of bad weather keep you in doors this weekend! There's plenty to do right here in West Michigan!
On the Lakeshore, Grand Haven is hosting it's 9th annual Salmon Festival. It's an event that celebrates the end of summer, as well as the salmon migration.
The festival will provide a great learning experience for kids, with hands-on exhibits and activities right along the waterfront.
For the grown-ups, there will be fine art displays, live music, and wine-tasting to enjoy.
Events on Saturday include wine stomping, a nature themed art fair, Big King fishing contest, and salmon culinary cook-off.
The Salmon Festival is happening in Downtown Grand Haven around the Marina parking lot. You can find more information here.
Moving on to Holland. The Holland Museum is hosting the 4th annual Civil War Muster at the historic Van Raalte Farm.
The event is completely free. It's two days of "music, impressions of historical figures, performances, medical scenarios, period style vendors, and (of course) battle."
Saturday, the event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

And finally, a highlight from Artprize 2012. Ice carving by Food Network stars Randy Finch and Darek Maxfield.
They will use a saw to create a two-story, four-foot tall house, with an ice-luge.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. in Treadstone Funding parking lot in downtown.
