(CNN) - Anheuser-Busch says the claims that the company waters down its beers are "completely false."
A class action lawsuit filed in California accuses the Budweiser maker of short-changing consumers on alcohol content to increase profits.
The suit seeks unspecified damages but says the controversy is worth more than five-million dollars. Similar lawsuits were filed in several other states.
Anheuser-Busch calls the lawsuits "groundless" and says its beers fully comply "with all alcohol labeling laws."
