Severe Storms Possible

Our weather pattern turns wet and stormy the next few days in West Michigan. Temperatures will stay above average with a cooling trend for later in the week.

Today will be partly sunny and warm with showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and evening.  Highs will be in the low-mid 80s. The Storm Prediction Center has placed all of West Michigan in a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms Monday and Monday night.  Winds will be south at 7-14 mph.  

Tuesday will be feature showers and thunderstorms under mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be around 80 with southwest winds at 8-16 mph.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely.  Highs will be in the upper 70s with southwest winds at 8-16 mph.

Thursday, showers are possible early, with skies becoming partly sunny. Highs will be in the mid 60s.

Friday and Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s.

Sunday and Memorial Day will be partly to mostly sunny.  Highs will be around 70.

The 6-10 Day Outlook for Sat. May 25 through Wed. May 29 calls for above average temperatures and below average precipitation. Average highs are around 72-74° with average precipitation of .69".

The 8-14 Day Outlook for Mon. May 27 through Sun. June 2 calls for above average temperatures and above average precipitation. Average highs are around 73-75° with average precipitation of .92".
