Nice Holiday Weekend

Thursday was a cloudy and chilly day with showers, mainly through midday following by clearing from the NW later in the day. Temperatures cooled off drastically, holding steady or falling from the low to mid 50s.

Thursday night will be clear and colder with some light frost possible along and north of I-96. Temperatures will be in the in the low to mid 30s. Winds will be north at 6-12 mph diminishing to 5-10 mph inland and north at 8-16 mph diminishing to 5-10 mph along the lakeshore. Lake Michigan forecast: Winds: N-NW 15-20 kts. Waves: falling to 2-5'.

Friday will be mostly sunny and cool with temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Winds will be north at 6-12 mph inland and north-northwest at 7-14 mph along the lakeshore. Lake Michigan forecast: Winds: N 8-16 kts. Waves: 1-4'.

Friday night will be mostly clear to partly cloudy and not cold with temperatures in the low 40s. Winds will be west-north at 3-6 mph and north at 5-10 mph diminishing to 3-6 mph along the lakeshore.

Saturday will be partly sunny and cool with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be light and variable to northeast at 4-8 mph.

Sunday through Tuesday will be mostly sunny and milder with temperatures in around 70° Sunday, in the mid 70s Memorial Day, and in the upper 70s Tuesday. Winds will be northeast Sunday, light and variable Monday and southeast Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Tuesday night followed by warm and humid conditions Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures in the low to mid 80s. Winds will be south.
