CUSTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Mason County deputies are investigating a one car crash that killed a 16 year old boy from Custer.
The accident happened around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night on Tuttle Road just north of Hansen.
According to deputies, Talen Christian Woods, 18, from Idlewild, was driving at a high rate of speed on Tuttle Road when he lost control of his car. Hunter Allison Parmalee, 16, Woods' passenger, died in the crash.
The car left the roadway striking several trees.
The accident remains under investigation.
