Kent City man escapes Christmas Eve house fire

KENT CITY, Mich. (WZZM)- A Kent City man and his dog were able to escape a house fire on Saturday morning.

Crews from Kent City, as well as Solon Township and Sand Lake were called out to the house fire on the 600 block of 22 Mile Rd.

A portion of 22 Mile Rd. near Red Pine is closed as crews continued to work on putting out the fire.

So far, a cause has not been determined.
