Walker, MI (WZZM) In this week's My Town report, we're featuring the home of the Meijer Corporation and the WZZM studios.
The Delta Plex in Walker is hosting several functions starting with the Fox Brew Ha Ha that wraps up on Saturday night.
Event Director, Emily Pearce said, "This is the fourth annual Great Fox Brew Ha Ha and we know it's going to be the best yet. We have more breweries participating than ever. We have over 40 including Brewery Vivant this year is joining us."
Jason Spaulding, owner of Brewery Vivant said, "We're excited to be a part of it. It should be a really really cool event and like she said, there's a big momentum for Michigan craft beers right now and we're just really happy that you know, an event like this kind of brings people together and gives an opportunity to kind of show people what we're doing."
On Friday, January 27th, the Delta Plex will be transformed into a hunter's paradise for the 20th installment of the Huntin' Time Expo.
Event co-owner, Beth Antor said, "Just under 300 different exhibitors that come in and they come from all over the world. We have South African guides, we have people from out west, we have all the different providences in Canada, we have retailers like Sportsman's Liquidation here, we have local, smaller shops, that are retailers, that are coming. We have jerky dealers and sausage dealers and people that just came up with new innovations that are just local people."
So, from beer to deer, there's plenty to do in Walker.
