MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM)-- Authorities shut down a cage fighting event in Muskegon Saturday when the Holiday Inn where the event was taking place exceeded capacity.
Angry ticket holders called WZZM 13, saying they only got to see three fights before the event was shut down. They said the organizer sold too many tickets, then left the event without giving them any information about refunds.
WZZM 13 contacted Muskegon police and Muskegon County dispatchers for more information, but no one was available or willing to comment on the situation.
13 On Your Side also contacted organizer Cody Colson Saturday night. He says ticket holders can use their ticket stub or wristband to get into the next cage fighting event for free.
