GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Voters -- the ones actually casting ballots Tuesday -- are deciding a variety of issues on ballots around West Michigan, including Grand Rapids Community College's request for a $98.6 million bond issue for remodeling its buildings.
Turnout is expected to be light in many counties, with clerks expecting 6-12% -- which they say is typical for school elections.
The GRCC millage is on the ballot in Kent County and a few precincts in Ottawa, Allegan, Barry and Newaygo counties.
